Eid Mubarak
We would like to wish everyone a very happy and restful Eid and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, September 13.

Back to School Night – Wednesday, September 15 (6:00 p.m.)
Back to School Night will take place next Wednesday, September 15 starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the theater.

Parents will be able to pick up copies of their son or daughter’s schedule between 5:30 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. in front of the theater.  After an introductory greeting in the theater, parents will follow their children’s schedules and visit each class.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet your child’s teachers as well as find out the curricular expectations in each class.

High School POLAR Updates – September 16
Student progress reports (POLAR updates) are available on POLAR from 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16 and onwards.  If you do not have your access code to POLAR, please email POLAR@cacegypt.org and you will be sent your personal access code to enter the POLAR program off the CAC website.

CAC Wins Major ISST Award!
We are pleased to announce that CAC is the winner of the ISST Best Varsity Average Results for 2009-10 and were awarded the “Eddie Hufford” Trophy!!   This is the second consecutive year in a row that CAC has won this honor and it means that in all ISST activities at the Varsity level, CAC had the highest total finishes of all participating schools!!  Obviously we are very proud to have won this title and take this opportunity to thank all our coaches, parents, and of course, our athletes.  Go Eagles!

High School Math Night – September 20
The high school Mathematics Department would like to invite parents of students in Integrated Math  (IM) 1, 2, 3, and pre-calculus to an evening of mathematics.  Parents will see the mathematics course options at CAC, have an opportunity to take a closer look at a typical lesson, and get ideas on how best to help their student when needed.

Please come and participate in this informative and rewarding evening.

International Day of Peace – September 21
The elementary, middle and high school divisions are commemorating International Day of Peace on Tuesday, September 21 with a special ceremony that will take place on the field starting at 8:15 a.m. This is an important event at CAC, and we hope that you may come to join us in the multitude of activities that are taking place on campus.  Everyone will be wearing white, and we hope to see you there.

Student Photos in the High School – September 7 to 14
High school student photos are being taken in the Gallery since September 7 and will continue till the 14th.  Student pictures will be used for the yearbook, and picture-taking will take place during student flex periods. It is important that all students have their pictures taken, and if you are interested to order ‘picture packages’ from the photographer, Mr. Hany at Hany Photo Quick, he is providing package prices in the coming weeks. Mr. Hany can be reached at 2359-4695.
