Principals' Message
---

Family Picnic: Another fabulous turnout on Sunday!

Creativity Lego Day: Each grade experienced lots of fun and exploration today as they made creative pieces with all types of lego.

Alice in Wonderland: It’s been a very busy week for our young actors! We hope you will all come to at least one of the shows to watch our latest ES Musical. A quote from one of the cast: “The best part of the play is that I made so many new friends... The bad part of the play is that it ends in a week... “ ES Spelling Bee Finals: 28 rounds later and our three ES finalists will now represent CAC in the Cairo Citywide Bee here on March 7. Well done to all participants!

Teachers Supporting Teachers: Our visiting teachers from Khartoum American School observed math lessons in classes and our teachers shared their knowledge. From one of the visiting teachers... “It has been a world of help in really understanding how to implement Eureka Math effectively. I really appreciate CAC's hospitality!”

KG and Grade 3 buddies: KG students read their opinion pieces today as part of their end of unit celebration. A wonderful sharing and learning experience for all!

The principals enjoyed lunch with students who have January and February birthdays this week!

Report Cards & Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences: The second trimester ends today, February 23, and our Trimester Two report cards will be issued on March 7 via Skyward (on the parent dashboard). Teachers will be working hard to create informative summaries of how each child is doing. The reports will be followed by parent/teacher conferences on March 14 (Tuesday after school) and March 15 (all day Wednesday). Students in grades 2 through 5 are asked to join the first five minutes of the conference to share their progress toward their goals. There will be no school for Elementary School students on Wednesday, March 15. Parent sign-ups for the conference day begin Thursday, February 23 and run through Tuesday, March 7, giving you the opportunity to select your own time slots to meet with teachers. Sign-ups will be done on SKYWARD.
See link for further information.
