Dear CAC Community,

Greetings as we bid farewell to a long winter and welcome Spring with sunny days and warmer weather. Every year in March, the board of trustees has the distinct pleasure of recognizing community members who serve CAC in ways that go above and beyond the call of duty.

The School Board will be composed of a minimum of six (6) members and up to a maximum of twelve (12) members from the following categories:

    • Representatives of Organizations and Institutions;
    • Elected Representatives; and
    • Appointed Representatives

CAC Board Of Trustees

Randall BuddenJoined the Board in September 2019, as the Embassy Representative.  Mr. Budden is a senior foreign service officer 'Minister-Counselor for Management Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.  Prior to moving to Cairo, he was the Executive Director for the Bureau of Medical Services in Washington.

Mr. Budden and his wife Jennifer have one daughter Amelia attending High School.

Mr. Budden holds a Bachelor’s degree in international/global studies from the University of Michigan.  Through a 25 plus year career of varied domestic and overseas assignments, he worked to balance resources to advance mission goals, and provide optimum customer service to American employees and their families and is committed to developing and leading the mission’s locally employed staff to reach their highest potential.
