Joined the Board in July 2015, as a Community Representative for a two-year term 2015-16. Ms. Oweiss was re-elected for a second two year term 2017-19 and then appointed for three consecutive one year terms ending in 2021-22.  Ms. Oweiss is a psychologist who specializes in providing assistance to children with special educational needs.  For the past seventeen years, Ms. Oweiss has been running a franchise called Academic Associates, where she coaches children with learning difficulties. She also worked alongside with Ain Shams University, developing and delivering training seminars for coaches on how to develop and implement programs for special needs students. Ms. Oweiss graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, from the American University in Cairo. She and her husband Sherif have three children, two who graduated from CAC and the youngest is currently in middle school.
