CAC’s campus life is one of the most diverse in Cairo - making it rich, internationally minded, and engaging. CAC, as the oldest American school in Cairo, prides itself on its community spirit and its connection with its host country.

 

CAC offers one of the finest athletic programs among the international schools of the East Mediterranean, and has a long and outstanding history of competitive athletics. The CAC athletic program is highly respected for its many successes as well as the quality and character of its student-athletes.

 

The arts at CAC are an essential part of every student’s education, being at the core of life’s journey. Each discipline within the visual arts provides its own unique approaches to thinking, problem solving, creativity, habits of mind and enables alternative forms of communication.

 

Parents are an integral part of the CAC community, playing vital roles in classrooms, libraries,

school trips, and extra-curricular programs. Community partnerships with families are

part of CAC’s philosophy which promotes collaboration between parents and faculty centering on student learning.  Parent & Teacher Organization (PTO) and Booster Club are essential support networks providing engaging resources and fun for all parents.
