WORKING AT CAC

Cairo American College is a coeducational school enrolling 850 students in PreK through grade 12. The school is located in Maadi, a residential suburb about 10 Kilometeres from Cairo in an area near the Nile River. We welcome employment inquiries from experienced, qualified candidates who seek enriching professional opportunities and who share our commitment to excellence. CAC requires strong credentials and at least two years of full-time teaching or administrative experience to apply. The application packet must include a completed CAC application form, a letter of interest, an up-to-date resume, references (at least 3), and a brief philosophy statement.

The faculty consists of 118 women and men who hold 34 bachelor’s, 80 master’s, and four doctoral degrees; approximately 52% of our faculty are US citizens. Balanced professional development is encouraged through in-service programs, summer studies, conference attendance, and graduate-level courses.
