The IB Primary Years Programme at CAC embodies principles of inquiry, creativity, and critical thinking, aligning seamlessly with our mission to "learn, explore, and have fun." PYP’s guiding aim to “create a better world through education” shapes our dynamic and holistic learning experiences. Through engaging classroom activities and enriching Specialist Classes like drama, music, art, and physical education, students develop confidence, creativity, and a global outlook. 

Starting in PreK, students are nurtured through hands-on, authentic learning experiences that inspire their hands, hearts, and minds. Our youngest Eagles learn to explore, express gratitude, and grow as compassionate and imaginative citizens of the world, ready to make a difference.

Every part of our elementary campus is a playground for imagination and innovation, designed to spark joy and curiosity in learning. Students skip over painted numbers on ramps, discovering math as they head to recess. A spiral staircase and cozy nooks turn our colorful library into a reading adventure. PreK classrooms seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor spaces to inspire exploration and creativity. And our five creator spaces—each buzzing with hands-on activities—are purpose-built to ignite curiosity and make learning unforgettable.

Treasure Room - A vibrant recycled-materials shop where students repurpose items into creative designs, fostering sustainability and imagination.

I-WOOD - A hands-on woodworking studio where students build confidence, practical skills, and environmental awareness while crafting their own projects.

I-MIX - This dynamic cooking and science lab promotes collaboration, healthy living, and cultural understanding through engaging, real-world experiences.

Make and Design Lab - A hub of creativity where students explore coding, upcycling, and hands-on innovation.

I-SPACE - A media studio that develops writing, tech literacy, and communication skills while connecting students to the wider school community through CAC News.

Cultivating global citizens begins with a deep appreciation for our host country, Egypt. Through our Egypt Culture signature program, unique to CAC’s elementary school, students dive into Egypt’s rich history and traditions. 

Our learners connect with the culture through hands-on experiences, such as visits to the Pyramids and exploring ancient agricultural practices along the Nile. Learning Arabic is an integral part of this program, enabling meaningful connections with local culture and fostering respect for diversity. This program supports our mission to “learn, explore, and have fun” while empowering students to grow as compassionate, imaginative citizens of the world. 

The CAC experience isn’t just academic - it’s also about sparking joy, and supporting holistic growth and wellbeing. Our Eagles enjoy ample outdoor play time each day, fostering physical health and social connection. A wide variety of after-school activities, from swimming and basketball to arts, music, and cooking, allow students to explore new interests and discover new passions. Add in fun celebrations throughout the year, like the Halloween costume parade, Winter Celebration with Santa on his camel, and the Egypt Culture Week’s Grand Festival, and it’s easy to see why CAC has a community unlike any other in the world.
