SERVICE LEARNING

Making a Difference, One Act at a Time

At CAC, service is more than a requirement—it’s a mindset. As a diverse and caring community, we believe in fostering compassion, responsibility, and action. Whether through daily kindness, student-led projects, service-focused clubs, or international trips, our students actively contribute to making the world a better place. From small gestures to large-scale initiatives, CAC Eagles embrace opportunities to serve both within and beyond our school, leaving a lasting impact wherever they go.

Empowering Students to Make a Difference

Service at CAC happens every day, in ways big and small. Through fostering a culture of kindness and organizing creative fundraising initiatives, our students take action to help others. CAC Eagles have launched bake sales to support orphanages, toy drives for children fighting cancer, and campus clean-ups to protect the environment. They’ve even hosted races at the Pyramids and kayak competitions on the Nile to raise awareness and funds for important causes. When our students see a need, they step up—because making a difference is just part of who we are.

Opportunities for Every Student to Give Back

For students passionate about service, CAC offers a range of clubs dedicated to giving back. The Green Team leads campus and community clean-ups, while the Service Learning Club provides meals for orphanages and the Global Issues Club tackles pressing social and environmental challenges. Even our youngest Eagles get involved—elementary students participate in after-school programs focused on upcycling and sustainability, and Agents for Change, an elementary-led initiative, organizes toy drives and visits to support children battling cancer. Whatever their interest, there’s a way for every student to take action and serve.

Expanding Horizons Through Global Service

Service at CAC extends far beyond our campus. Through our Week Without Walls program, students have the opportunity to travel internationally and engage in hands-on service projects. In Vietnam, students work alongside villagers to build homes for families in need. In South Africa, they contribute to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts. These immersive experiences provide real-world lessons in empathy, responsibility, and global citizenship, empowering students to create lasting change in communities around the world.
