The 2050 Initiative: Preparing Future Innovators Today
The pace of technological advancement is exponentially accelerating, and CAC is transforming our students’ learning experience with our 2050 Initiative - focusing on the big ideas and converging technologies that will accelerate the world over the next 50 years.
This program equips students for the future through three streams of electives:
- Financial Literacy - Decentralized Finance, Blockchain, Finance and Market Principles
- Disruptive Innovative Technologies - Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Metaverse, Green Energy, and Genome Sequencing
- Engineering & Design - Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Design Thinking
Middle school students explore all three through hands-on courses, guest speakers, and field trips, while high schoolers dive deeper through focused courses.
Guided by research and collaboration with global experts, our 2050 program empowers students to navigate and shape the world they will inherit—one defined by innovation and transformation.
Harkness Learning: Engaging Minds, Empowering Voices
The Harkness Teaching Method fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and empathy through student-led, discussion-based learning. Around purpose-built oak tables, students engage as equals, exploring ideas in depth while honing communication and listening skills.
As the only school in Egypt offering this approach, CAC combines annual training from Phillips Exeter Academy with expert-led pedagogy to create confident, compassionate communicators ready to thrive in any setting.
Inspiring Voices: Learning from the World's Best
CAC’s Guest Speaker Program brings inspiration to life by connecting students with remarkable individuals—from astronauts and NBA players to mountain climbers, conservation filmmakers and global business leaders. These exceptional guests share their stories, encouraging students to dream big, explore their passions, and make an impact.
Honoring Our Host Country
CAC’s Egypt Culture in Focus program reflects a deep commitment to connecting with and learning from our host country. All elementary students are required to take Arabic, enabling meaningful engagement with local culture. Through immersive field trips, like exploring the Pyramids or ancient agricultural practices along the Nile, students experience Egypt’s rich history and traditions firsthand. This unique program leverages Egypt’s incredible learning opportunities to foster cultural appreciation and global awareness.

Spaces that Spark Creativity & Innovation
CAC’s purpose-built spaces for Imagination and Innovation inspire young learners to explore, create, and problem-solve. Five purpose-built elementary learning spaces celebrate creativity and hands-on exploration.
- Make and Design Lab
- CAC News Station
- i-Space
- i-Wood
- i-Mix
These unique environments foster hands-on learning and encourage students to think creatively, embrace challenges, and develop life skills, laying the foundation for future-focused learning and innovation from an early age.
Empowering Families with Positive Discipline
CAC is dedicated to fostering community and building strong home-school partnerships through our free Parenting Together course. Designed around Positive Discipline, this 8-week program equips parents with tools to navigate the challenges of raising children in an increasingly complex world while promoting joyful and respectful relationships.
Offered four times annually—twice for elementary parents and twice for middle and high school parents—it emphasizes mutual respect between children and adults both at home and at school.
Elevating Athletics: CAC’s Global Competition Advantage
CAC is the only school in Egypt participating in the International Schools Athletic Association (ISAA), giving students exceptional opportunities to compete in tournaments across Europe. With a focus on inclusivity, international-mindedness, and child safeguarding, ISAA fosters meaningful athletic experiences while ensuring high standards of protection for all participants.
