Currently, Micah serves as the Program Director and Associate Professor at the Baltimore Urban Study Center & Living and Learning East Coast, where he focuses on applied health education and community-driven development. His passion for lifelong learning and sustainability is at the core of his work, as he seeks to build authentic partnerships that break down barriers—whether religious, political, or economic—to promote global health and reconciliation.

Micah credits his years at CAC for shaping his worldview and inspiring his commitment to international service. Growing up in such a diverse environment taught him the power of communication, collaboration, and mutual understanding. “At CAC, we learned how to work together, celebrate our differences, and find common ground. That experience was invaluable,” he reflects.

Returning to CAC years later as a guest speaker, Micah was proud to share his journey and inspire the next generation of students. His advice? “You’re always encouraged to think about the future, but don’t forget to focus on the present. The impact you make today shapes tomorrow.”
