MS Advisory Program
The CAC middle school advisory program covers a variety of health and well-being topics such as physical health, mental health, healthy relationships, wellness, and stress management. Desired outcomes of the CAC MS advisory program include:
- Emotional regulation: Learning how to manage emotions effectively leads to greater emotional stability and resilience, which are important components of overall well-being.
- Positive self-image: Encouraging positive self-talk and healthy self-esteem helps students feel more confident and self-assured, which will lead to better mental health outcomes.
- Mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness techniques, such as relaxation, helps students manage stress and anxiety more effectively, leading to greater well-being.
- Healthy habits: Encouraging healthy habits, such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate sleep, leads to improved physical health outcomes and greater overall well-being.
