Imagination and Innovation
CAC young learners apply their understanding of key concepts through the construction of their projects and play. Form, function, causation, change, connection, perspective, and responsibility are key concepts that support higher order thinking. Learners appreciate there’s more than one way to solve a problem, and that it’s okay to fail and try again.
In a world where our young children are using technology more and more, the art of hands-on learning is being lost, yet CAC keeps it alive. Our innovative imagination spaces invite our learners to imagine and explore different interests and learn life skills.
Five purposely designed elementary school learning spaces build on the creative spirit of youth and provide spaces that unite passion: the Make and Design Lab, the CAC News Station, the i-Space, the i-Wood Space, and the i-Mix Space. These foundational experiences prepare our students for the future-oriented sequence of courses that start in Middle School.
