Dear CAC Community,

As the calendar year draws to a close and we embark upon a well-deserved winter break, I am excited to highlight some of CAC's 2024 achievements and updates from the Board that have brought our mission to life and reaffirmed our commitment to exceptional education. 

We have officially launched a new strategic planning cycle, recognizing the CAC Board’s critical role in shaping the school’s future. Strategic planning is essential not only for aligning the school’s vision with its long-term goals but also for ensuring that resources, curriculum, and community engagement are effectively utilized to provide the best educational experience for students. As custodians of the school’s mission, the Board understands that this process is essential for informed decision-making, addressing challenges, and prioritizing initiatives that support growth and success.

BOARD COMPOSITION

The School Board will be composed of a minimum of six (6) members and up to a maximum of twelve (12) members from the following categories:

    • Representatives of Organizations and Institutions;
    • Elected Representatives; and
    • Appointed Representatives

Amal Soliman

Joined the Board in July 2020 as an elected representative for two consecutive two-year terms and as an appointed member for the term 2024-25. She is a CAC alumna (Class of 2000) and an active member of the CAC community. Ms. Soliman and her husband, Moustafa, have two children attending CAC: Hoda in grade 11 and Amin in grade 7.

Ms. Soliman graduated with a B.A in Economics & a minor in Business Administration from AUC. She has been in the banking sector since graduation. Currently, she is the Head of Business Services - Global Banking & Markets at HSBC Egypt.​
